Sasuke pierced by Danzou: Ugh…
Danzou, pierced by Sasuke: Too fast…eyes are still open…you will be going to see Itachi, and perhaps it would be good of you to receive some of his preaching…this is my win.

Karin (What’s going on!? …this feeling is…!)

Danzou: !!?
Sasuke looking downward: Haha
Danzou: …what’s…the meaning of this!? (Guh! …why won’t Izanagi start up!!?)
Sasuke’s right eye has Mangekyou activated.

Madara (Danzou…it’s as you said — the time Itachi could freely manipulate his genjutsu and Tsukiyomi — the difference is like between the heavens and earth…)
Danzou’s field of vision is blurred. His right arm’s eyes are closed.

Danzou: You…
Sasuke: The one meeting Itachi will be you…

Danzou falls to his knees.
Karin (As thought, it’s as I sensed. It was in fact Danzou’s real body!)

Madara (…Although it isn’t as strong, it was pivotal of him to use that genjutsu at that time…)
Danzou looks to be in a lot of pain.

Madara (Right before his body was pierced, the sharingan in his right arm all closed. Sasuke is of the Uchiha clan…and a shinobi possessing the Mangekyou…but Danzou with his observing eye…he is above you. In an instant he was faster than you in noticing…Sasuke cast a genjutsu on you, making you believe that your last eye on your right arm was still open. You used Izanagi on yourself without fulling knowing its effective time, checking it over and over to see if it was in effect. Sasuke didn’t miss that. Izanagi’s time of effectiveness has a small interval in between each use. Although he pretended to know the degree to which that was, he knew beforehand that even in an instant he would be able to cast a genjutsu. Don’t use that, that’s not Sasuke.)

Danzou’s checks his right shoulder: U..gh…
Madara: You were naiive in this battle of Sharingan because of all those Sharingan you’ve acquired…that’s the reason for your loss.

Sasuke: My eyes will tell you how this fight will go. Don’t underestimate the Uchiha.

Madara (Even without being able to use Shisui’s eye, Danzou did a good job of driving it this far….Sasuke, it seems like you’ll soon be able to take Shisui’s eyes for yourself. Root should have stayed hidden in the ground.)

Sasuke is about to collapse while Karin rushes over: Sasuke…!
Sasuke: Ku..ku…
Karin brings out her left arm: Here! Bite quickly!!

Madara: That girl…it was good to bring her here…she’s useful, and Sasuke specifically chose her as his favorite…

Sasuke biting.
Karin: Ahh…!

Danzou (I…! To this little…!! I will not die in a place like this!!!)

Suddenly Danzou’s right arm starts to become a tree.
Danzou: Guahhh!!!
Sasuke and Karin: !!?

Danzou (I won’t allow it!! At this rate I’ll be taken over by the Shodai’s cells.)
Danzou takes his right shoulder with his right arm.
Madara (Facing death, he’s losing control over his chakra…he won’t be able to easily control the strength of the pillars…)

Danzou, in front of Karin and Sasuke.
Karin: How persistent…this is some guy…!

Danzou takes the bandages off his right eye.
Danzou: Not yet…from here on out…with this eye…I will tell you how this fight will end.

Madara (The pupil in his right eye has returned huh…he covered with Izanagi while allowing Shisui’s eye to recover in the mean time…so that was your play huh…)

Sasuke uses Chidori in his left hand, and thrusts at Danzou.
Danzou dodges, and takes Karin hostage.

Madara (Shisui’s pupil…it seems he plans to use it up as he did with Izanagi.)

Sasuke glares at Danzou.
Danzou: You’ve used your eye too much huh.
Karin: Sasuke…

Danzou (Sasuke can’t use it anymore…if I can use Shisui’s genjutsu to control him and get him to go after Madara, it would be more effecient considering the depth of these wounds.)
Madara (So then…Sasuke…what will you do?)

Sasuke: You who talked of self-sacrifice….to take a hostage.

Danzou: My..my life…I’m not sorry…it was for Konoha…for the ninja world…I won’t allow myself to die in a place like this…no matter whose hands…whatever I have to do…to live…I will…this shinobi’s…to become the reformer to change the world…this girl will be a sacrifice for that purpose.
Karin: Sasuke…help me!

Sasuke: Don’t move…Karin.
Danzou: …!

Sasuke activates Mangekyou in his left eye…with a scary face.

Sasuke uses a Chidori spear and stabs Karin along with Danzou.
Danzou’s back is pierced through.

Karin (Huh…)
Danzou: Guh…! (…the vitals of the hostage…)
Madara, smiling with his eyes: So its come to this…

Sasuke: Brother…this is the first…

Karin and achieving revenge!!
Sasuke, towards the darkness of reality…!!

Kishimoto Jump Interview: SPOILERS FOR 2010!!

Part 1:

Translated from Japanese:

Sakura’s acting a little haughty towards Naruto.
She’ll be more Heroine-like from now on.

Well it looks this is Sakura’s chance to shine. If she fail here she pretty much fails as a character.

Sasuke’s becoming more and more evil and him fighting Naruto will probably be the last event.

Well it wouldn’t make much sense to have it anywhere else. They will fight
but Naruto will ultimately be able to convert Sasuke back. Somehow.

Something will happen to Taka as well.

I hope it’s something a bit more eventful than die.

IF Naruto should become Hokage it most likely will be in the end.

Given that’s what the story is mainly about then there’s not much else
to write about. Yeah there’s Konohamaru but he’s basically Naruto-Lite.

There’s no desire to have much romance for Shikamaru.

This isn’t surprising. Shikamaru’s “romances” are more of a tease. Shikamaru is very likely going to end up like his dad. Married to a
woman who wears the pants in the family. Kishimoto won’t ever
show us how it happened but just that if it does that it did.

Naruto will have no-one around him who’s up-front with him so Shikamaru will be a Confidante.

Awesome. Sounds like Shikamaru is being set up more and more for a pretty high position once Naruto becomes Hokage

Sasuke vs Danzo will decide Sasuke’s future Path.
but he (kishimoto) said he will write something big for him.

Big for who? Sasuke or Danzo? Though this fight should be interesting.

Sakura really loves Sasuke.

Well of course. That’s not too difficult to figure out.

Next Year will be Kakashi’s year.

Part 2:

Each Voice actor asked questions to Kishimoto.

Nakaruma asked about what was upcoming with Sakura.
Kishimoto: “Honestly, from the standpoint of showing a female-like disposition she hasnt been much of a Heroine.You could even say Hinata is more of a heroine than her.But since, as we know, Sakura is a Heroine deep inside.She’ll show that side of hers from now on”

Let’s hope so. We don’t need any more of her emotional baggage.

Naruto’s close.But Sakura loves Sasuke as we should expect from that speech.She’s being haughty with Naruto using not so kind words agains Naruto.

Part 3:

Well Naruto is her friend and she doesn’t want him to get hurt.
However her methods of doing so aren’t very good.

Yeah its true it did sound Sugiyama once said “With a Suna Person” when Morikubo asked about Shikamaru’s love life.
Kishimoto said he doesnt wanna write that for Shikamaru.

That’s what fan fictions are for

Takeuchi: “Will Naruto become Hokage?”
Kishimoto: “He should become Hokage”
This had the Audience make Noise.

Notice he says “should”? Though I say Naruto BETTER become Hokage
or die trying.

Takeuchi: “Won’t Sakura become Hokage before Naruto does?”
Kisimoto answered flatly: “No way!”

Nice try, Takeuchi. Nice try.

Kishimoto announced Naruto will do Training.
Takeuchi: “So Naruto will become stronger again.”
Next Year Kakashi is the Main Character.

Takeuchi: “It would be a good thing not to tell this to Kazuhiko-san”
Sugiyama: “You probably can’t speak of the outcome of the Danzou fight, but what happens with Taka after?”

Kishimoto: “I can’t speak to what happens with the Danzou fight, but there’ll be some things happening within Taka (dissent?) and the look in Sasuke’s eyes will grow more and more evil. I’ve just recently decided on such a course of the story” (these words make it seem as if the Sasuke-related part isn’t really decided upon, so take this part with a grain of salt).

Part 4:

Next was the Questions For Kishimoto-sensei Corner

Nakamura-san started off with something like, “With the latest developments, Sakura has…”
He said something like, that chick* (Takeuchi reacted to that “That chick” lol) is detestable for using Naruto’s good will, but, well that’s just how I’d think to write a realistic girl.
You hear all the time that Sakura is a detestable person, but that’s what seems to be the intention

“Since Sakura is the heroine”, “I’ll be writing from now on to show her with that disposition”
“Though everyone says Hinata-Hinata all the time…”

?I wonder if it’s that their voices supporting Hinata are so loud (my personal impression)
Sugiyama wavered on which question to ask (normal fan thing)
He asked: “What will happen to Sasuke after fighting Danzou?”
“The ending of the Danzou fight will determine Sasuke’s coming development (whether it be his movement or his intentions)”
“As will the course of those in Taka

The name is Phantom, just Phantom. I have no real ambitions, dreams or aspirations, these are mine to know.

What are your strengths as a Ninja?
Well, I can walk through walls and no I am not related to Uchiha, Madara for the last time, hate that guy’s guts, assuming he still has any. Affinity to Wind and water similar to Naruto but to a higher degree.

Favourite Character
Apart from Anko, which goes without saying, it would be a toss up between Naruto and Kekashi for second place

What is your opinion on Danzo?
Danzo, should quite honestly give up and let the new generation take over, the old decrepit fool, is only going to get himself get his butt whooped by Itachi et al.

Have any opinion on those who say Hinata is useless?
Yes, they are idiots to say the least.

Itachi Evil or not?
I would say not at this stage, but with Itachi who knows.

What is your Rank?
Bit rude, oh you mean my Ninja rank, well, don’t like to bragg, Jounin of a small village, far, far, away from Konoha.

Any predictions on what is on the horizon for Naruto and the rest of the Ninja world?
1) Naruto finding out who his mother was.
2) Naruto surpassing Sage mode
3) Sasuke losing his sight
4) Naruto and Sasuke reconcile after the former manages to find Itachi’s eyes and help Sasuke gain his sight back and new abilities
5) Naruto stops being a dunce and actually notices Hinata ( as in she doesn’t have to almost die in front of him to get a reaction from Konoha’s number one knucklehead)
6) Sakura finds a way to revive Tsunade.
7) Danzou is eliminated
8) The Kyubi actually starts to assist Naruto after finally realising that assisting Naruto is in his own interest.
9) Madara’s plan fails and Naruto becomes the new sage of the six paths.
10) Lee and Gai actually make sense ( tough ask I know lol!!!)
11) Kakashi finds some new literature or starts his own as being the Scarecrow chronicles?

I know most of them are probably either daft, insane or just plain idiotic, but heck I can dream :)

If you had to choose between Anko, Sakura or Hinata as a member of your team who would you choose?
Well, to be honest, I would say Anko, she has more experience as a Ninja and is not likely to kill me with one punch if any something wrong, not that it wouldn’t really hurt. :)

Any view on Ten-Ten?
A good ninja, a weapons specialist, put it this way, those who bash Ten-ten are going be getting some serious payback.

Kakashi for next Hokage, good or bad idea?
Of course, good idea, may keep him away from that questionable material ::coughs:: He is a keen strategist, expert at tracking and knows thousands of ninja abilities as well as having the Sharingan eye.

Zetsu-san: Tell us more about yourself?
Ironside: I recently connected to the manga again during the invasion of pain arc
After commenting on the blog after 437 I was inviting by NA to join in helping run the site and have since been working on predictions and chatting with NA, Zetsu, State of Naruto, and more

Zetsu-san: You used to write short predictions, where have you/they been lately??
Ironside: During the summer I was busy with my summer job and shortly thereafter I returned to college and that has taken up a lot of my time. I am also trying to keep my imagination up despite my educational requirements

That and this Sasuke arc is killing my mood (no I don’t like him stop asking lol)
However the recent chapter has given me some very good ideas that I intend to share and develop

Zetsu-san: That’s good. I’m not his biggest fan either
Ironside: I don’t know many Sasuke fans lol

Zetsu-san: Haha we could have a good old bitch about Sasuke now - but we’ll save that till the end of the interview lol
Ironside: Ahhh darn….

Zetsu-san: so we can expect Ironside predictions back soon. That’s great!
Ironside: Yeah I’m hopefully picking up my groove and trying to get ideas out there

Zetsu-san: Who is your favourite character in Naruto? and why?
Ironside: My favourites have to be Jiraiya, Temari, Killer Bee, Hinata, and Naruto. I love Jiraiya’s perverted tendencies for its humour but he has a very deep understand of the world and in the Jiraiya vs. Pain arc showed why he is consider to be the strongest of the Sannin. Temari I have adored since she shows the women in this manga can be a strong as any man and I how she despite her strong outside appearance has great concern for friends and family. Killer Bee earned my eternal respect by handing Sasuke’s own ass to him and doing it with a complete new style, he is like a rapping ninja version Samuel Jackson (he now has a Gai like teacher how awesome is that!).

Hinata has been a favourite of mine with her kind heart and shyness, but like most women once you make them mad or attack their lover they will attack you with all they got. And last but not least Naruto when the series first started I liked Naruto somewhat as he still was childish about a very serious world. By the end of the original series I began to see him change. And now in Shippuden he has greatly matured and in the last few arcs has show to becoming a great leader (shot down Sakura too great job man).

Zetsu-san: If you were a Ninja in the Naruto universe - what rank would you be and which village would you come from?
Ironside: I would be a ninja of Kohona no doubt as I value loyalty, teamwork, and dedication to great leaders (except Danzou). I would probably be a Jounin as I am usually a leader in my groups at the college and I learn fast when I am shown what to do and enjoy showing how to do it to others.

I also have no problem with having to fight for what I believe in alongside those of a younger generation and making sure they get out alive

Zetsu-san: What are your top 3 fights/moments from Naruto? explain why?
Ironside: #3 Jiraiya vs. Pain right from the get-go I had ominous feeling about Jiraiya survival, however he showed us his impressive power and desire and dreams for his students despite being slain by one.

#2 goes to Kirabi vs. Sasuke we finally got to see someone who could wipe the floor with not only Sasuke but his entire team, that and his ability to control the 8-tailed Ox was incredible and Kirabi raps to it how can you not love that? Lol
#1 the most critical fight of the Naruto series to me right now is undoubtedly the Naruto vs. Pain fight Kohona was in ruins and Naruto comes and obliterates most of pains bodies, then the confession from Hinata that I have waited years for and she almost died from it. Naruto’s doubts and meeting his father I couldn’t believe. Then the final destruction of pain by the Rasengan put a smile on my face and left me very satisfied

Zetsu-san: What are your favourite manga/anime and why?
Ironside: My favourite anime/manga right now are Naruto and Bleach for there humour and fighting scenes as well as the character development in them. I have also been following Fullmetal Alchemist because of its dark and twisted story-telling that draws me in.

Zetsu-san: And what characters do you hate?
Ironside: For a citizen of the US there are few things worse than betraying your people, friends, and mentors so naturally Sasuke nearly tops my list. He gave himself up to Orochimaru who had just killed the 3rd Hokage just to get his revenge, he proceeds to get his revenge and goes against his brothers wish to not destroy Kohona even after Itachi spared him in the massacre. To me Sasuke is merely going to become a sacrifice for the great good of the world.
Orochimaru is one of the creepiest villains I have come across, as with Sasuke he betrayed others because they didn’t support his lust for power. He showed cunning with his curse seal and his rebirth ability in the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight and even now we are finding pieces of his dark legacy

Finally Pain this guy showed true power in his fight he first annihilates Kohona and kills many people in it with many Naruto characters included. He manages to cause Naruto to give up his dream only to be foiled by the 4th Hokage. He is one of the few villains Naruto has actually killed speaking a lot of how bad Naruto wanted his head

Zetsu-san: What is your guilty pleasure?
Is having 20 gigs of hentai on your computer considered guilty pleasure :D

Zetsu-san: O… M… G!!! Lolool! Really??
Ironside: More or less

Zetsu-san: Haha! DIRTY!
Ironside: I follow the pervert hermit ways to the end! Lol

Zetsu-san: What type of hentai??
Ironside: Naruto/Hinata porn and Naruto mainly, with a little bleach in there too and a few other ones I can’t remember right now.

Zetsu-san: Yaoi?? Ever fancied a bit of NaruSasu??
Ironside: NO!!!!!!!! Nor Futa that stuff makes me sick although I adore Yuri (admit boys you all love it)

Zetsu-san: What’s Futa???

Zetsu-san: Tell us more about yourself.
Numinous: My real name is Jorge, I’m from Porto (you know, the place where FC Porto and Porto wine come from, so you know where’s the quality from) and I’m a 21 year old Naruto manga reader that wrote some predictions for Naruto and people loved them so much for some odd reason that know I’m writing my own manga with Rahul (aka MTUV or Minato the Ultimate Villain), another “costumer” from Naruto Addict’s lovely blog. I’m writing a novel too, but that’s on hold because of the manga.

Zetsu-san: So, Numinous, can you tell me, how do you write your predictions - any ‘rituals’ you go through to mentally prepare yourself?
Numinous: My rituals are having a net window on a manga reader, to avoid plot holes and quick access to flashback material, and another on the music player with the fantastic work of Nobuo Uematsu, Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Schubert, Chopin, among others, to set the mood accordingly. Then, is just waiting for inspiration to strike me and type like crazy. It’s much fun, since English is not my first language and I put extra effort to make sure people understand the message I want to portray, and of course, making crazy predictions on the manga. Of course Kishimoto trolls me and the other prediction writers every week, but that’s even more funny, to compare his writing to mine.

Zetsu-san: When you read other predictions, how do you feel towards them, can you admit sometimes they may be better than yours - or are you fairly confident yours are the best predictions out there?
Numinous: Of course my predictions are the best! I’m just kidding, I like to read others’ predictions to see what they think and I recognize that some of them are better than mine, since I simply suck at action scenes, where TSO-senpai and Jeanricuser shine. Also, the new wave of prediction writers promise, but I must send an hint: guys, predictions must be awesomely realistic, not just awesome. Keep the good work, guys!

Zetsu-san: Inspiring words there, you heard him kids, keep it realistic! So… how’s the manga coming along? any spoilers you can leak like what it’s about, when its set etc?
Numinous: The manga is still in the beggining, we have a few chapters done (mostly by me, Rahul is a little behind on schedule) but we have the major plot already defined. I can only say that it has lots and lots of demons! And no, it’s not Devil May Cry! It’s set in two different times, one being 2007 and the other somewhen in the golden age of the Mayan culture. And no, it’s not 2012! The funny thing is, we still don’t have a tittle for the manga, but we have already so many scenes and jokes we want to include! Even a rather hot wet dream scene. And no, it’s not an hentai manga, it’s shonen! If you find this contridatory, you haven’t seen us getting stuff under the radar!

Zetsu-san: What is your favorite character in Naruto?
Numinous: Well, Hinata, Shikamaru and Tobi (NOT Madara, just good ol’ Tobi) tie at the top, because those are the characters I can relate the most. Shikamaru is a lazy genius, Hinata is shy but determined and Tobi is just plain goofy, and that’s practically my description. If you asked the character I hate the most… I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE Madara. Zetsu-san: If you were a Ninja in the Naruto universe - what rank would you be and which village would you come from?
Numinous: I’d be a Jounin from Amegakure (aka Village Hidden in the Rain). I really liked the feeling that Amegakure has in Naruto and with Konan as leader, how can you go wrong?

Zetsu-san: What are your top 3 fights/moments from Naruto? explain why?
Numinous: For now, Kirabi against Sasuke is in third place, because Kirabi is simply funny and moped the floor with Sasuke, it was rather enjoyable. Jiraiya’s Death comes in second, because it was extremely emotive, even more in the anime. I liked Ero-sennin so much, he’ll be missed. And call me pairing freak, but Hinata’s confession is my favorite scene… is just the best reality check Naruto manga ever had, and it’s WAY better than the other two confessions made by the same girl to two different guys… you know who I’m talking about… ;P

Zetsu-san: What are your favorite manga/anime and why?
Numinous: Well, I like Naruto (duh) and One Piece, because they’re fun to read and lighthearted. For more mature reading, I prefer Berserk and Full Metal Alchemist, the first for the simply gorgeous artwork given every single panel, and the latter for its great plot.

Zetsu-san: What is your guilty leasure?
Numinous: The only Pop Singer I like is Lady Gaga. Yes, people, flame me as you want!

Zetsu-san: What is your motto?
Numinous: My motto is “Carpe Diem”, we need to enjoy every day of our lives, only that way life is worth it.
